About Clear Sailing Dog Sports
In July, 1998, a small group of Agility enthusiasts got together and decided to hold the first ever Agility Trial under the banner of Clear Sailing Dog Sports (CSDS). It was held in July at Robert’s Roost campground in Quesnel and has continued on the same weekend and at the same place each year since. Their mission was to raise funds to donate to various dog rescue organizations.
The funds that CSDS is able to donate each year comes from two sources. The first is the entry fees that each competitor pays to enter the trial. After expenses are paid, CSDS keeps enough for start up funds for the following year and the rest of the entry fees goes towards donations. The second source of funds is our raffle tables. We have been fortunate over the years to have had some wonderful donations to our raffle and each year competitors eagerly look forward to see what will be on the raffle table each day of our trial.
We do not offer agility classes. Please visit Dog Agility Canada for information on where to find a trainer in your area.
